♦ THE-ICE Member Scholarships of Excellence Applications Close 26 March 2010
THE-ICE Founding Members, Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE and The Hotel School Sydney are offering International students the opportunity to apply for a prestigious Scholarship at their institution. Application and Criteria Forms are available on THE-ICE Website at www.the-ice.org and applications close 26th March 2010.

Scholarship available for commencement of study Semester 2 2010 are:

Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE
Advanced Diploma in Hospitality (Management) (2 Year Program)

• (2 year) Advanced Diploma Scholarship available
• To commence Semester 2, 2010 (usually July)
• Scholarship offers a grant of AU $28,120 towards NSI Tuition Fees
• Application closing date is March 26, 2010.

Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE
Diploma in Event Management (1 Year Program)

• (1 year) Diploma Scholarship available
• To commence Semester 2, 2010 (usually July)
• Scholarship offers a grant of AU $12,380 towards NSI Tuition Fees
• Application closing date is March 26, 2010.

The Hotel School Sydney
Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management (3 Year Program)

• Bachelor Scholarship available
• To commence Semester 2, 2010 (usually July)
• Scholarship offers a grant of AU $10,000 towards THSS Tuition Fees
• Application closing date is March 26, 2010.

♦ THE-ICE Panel of Experts Forum 2010 to Be Held in Thailand
Our next International Panel of Experts (PoE) Forum will be hosted by Narasuen University in central Bangkok in early June 2010.

The Forum will be held right before the 8th APacCHRIE Conference and allowing participants to attend both events. Following on from the successful 2009 PoE Forum held at The Hotel School in Sydney (Australia), this will be the first time the Forum has been held outside of Australia.

The focus of this Forum will be on the "Accreditation and Quality Assurance for Tourism and Hospitality Education". Details on the panel sessions, speakers and registration will be placed on the website shortly.

♦ APacCHRIE 2010 Conference To Be Held in Thailand - Paper Submissions Due
Paper submissions to the 2010 conference in Bangkok are due on March 1, 2010. Submissions are due (as electronic attachments via email). For more information vist the Conference website.

The 8th Asia-Pacific CHRIE Conference will be held June 3-6, 2010 at the PULLMAN BANGKOK KING POWER in Ratchathewi, central Bangkok, Thailand. The theme of this year's conference is:"Integrating Hospitality & Tourism Across Asia and the Pacific". Authors are invited to submit papers across a wide spectrum of tourism & hospitality related research, including:
