SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Based in Ho Chi Minh City
Minimum 10 years relevant work experience, of which 5 years should be at a senior level; Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline; Excellent written and spoken Vietnamese and English; Extensive experience in building high-level strategic relationships; Proven strategic and critical thinking skills ; Ability to work with Vietnamese Government staff, Vietnamese professional bodies and other organizations at all levels to facilitate and develop relationships in Vietnam. Ability to identify business and strategic opportunities relevant to CPA Australia in Vietnam; Experience in managing a small team of staff; Excellent presentation and communication skills; Ability to plan, co-ordinate and facilitate key projects and events; The capability to undertake research, provide timely advice and identify issues and potential solutions; Good business judgment and analytical skills; and Knowledge and experience of working a non-profit professional services association desirable;
Working with relevant business units of CPA Australia and under the guidance of the Chief Representative, Vietnam the SBDM will:
identify, develop and deliver on strategic objectives; manage senior level business development activities; identify and prioritise key target audiences and required relationships; act as a key/first contact point for members and stakeholders in HCM city . design and deliver initiatives that showcase CPA Australia’s products and services; prepare monthly reports on planned, current activity and actual results achieved ; develop and implement strategies to recruit new members and service existing members ; and manage a small team and oversee all activities of CPA Australia in the Ho Chi Minh city market
